Summit Gym is announcing a Competition Series, open to anyone (USA Climbing members and general public, young and old) to begin in September. Kyle encourages the team to participate. He would REALLY like everyone to do the Speed competition, bouldering is also an option, or you can do both. Parents can join in and compete in the Open Category! Here is the info,
Cost
$30 includes bouldering and speed
$25 for one or the other
$75 to prepay for all 3 dates, includes Tshirt and chalk
Adult Open Category (16 or up by end of 2011)
September 3, October 1, November 5
7pm-10pm, Beer after 10pm for those at least 21 years old
Cash prizes for this category for each comp for bouldering and speed
1st - $100, 2nd - $5, 3rd - $25
Overall winners - total score of each comp combined at end of season
1st - $250, 2nd - $100, 3rd - $50
Youth Category (19 or under at end of 2011)
September 4, October 2, November 6 (this date also is an ABS comp for USA Climbing)
9am-12pm, ABS comp on November 6 will have 2 sessions and will end at 3pm
